Kelly has been taking photographs for websites and print media since 2006. She has recently added on-demand canvas and photographic prints to her portfolio.
Her particularly area of interest and the basis for my of her photographic work is fishing. Barramundi fishing and marlin fishing, and all the wildlife and landscapes, sunrises and sunset associated with both.
Kelly first put her writing talents to work during her time in Japan where she wrote and edited copy for work such as ‘Moving to Japan Guides’ and membership materials and event flyers during her time at the ACCJ.
She has also now been a professional blogger for the past 8 years.
These days she writes a daily blog reporting marlin fishing from all over the country and has developed a distinct area of expertise – marlin and all things billfishing and applies this to writing for magazines, flyers, websites and travel guides alike.
Combining the elements of both photography and words into web design is one of Kelly’s favourite things to do…full stop. In her spare time you’ll often find her coding a new website, or changing the design of her existing sites, just for fun.
As a self taught developer, Kelly has learned just what is important to be able to do yourself, and what you need to leave to the experts. As such her specialty is the installation and development of Wordpress websites. Wordpress is a fantastic platform that allows even the web novice to keep their website up-to-date with regular news, photos and announcements via a simple web interface.
